Hearts Love 30

LaNita "Pearl" McCowan

November 19, 1972 ~ August 18, 2021 (age 48)

LaNita Rene McCowan was born November 19, 1972 in Denver, CO to Gloria Jean Miller and Gus Jimmy Lee McCowan.

Nita also affectionately known as “Pearl” was a beloved mother to her son Rei-Jon Gash, grandma to two boys Rashod and Roshie Gash, sister to Damon Miller, an auntie, niece, cousin, friend and so much more to all who knew her.

Remembering that all things are in God’s hands, Nita was called home to the embrace of the Lord on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at 8:41pm. She resided in Hampton, GA at her time of transition.

To know her was to love her. May our angel continue to live on through our hearts and our memories.

Family ask at this time that you do not send flowers. A memorial fund link will be added at a later time.

Please note
Please join us for Nita's aka Pearl's memorial service and celebration of life. We want to pay homage to who she is and evolved into during her short time here on earth. Nita is a true and rare gem who always danced to the beat of her own drum while impacting everyone. We think it's only fitting to send her out the way she lived.... full of life and unlike any other. Her service will be a showcase of the various talents she possessed, nurtured and enjoyed in hopes to give us all a better understanding of her beliefs, principals and spiritual journey that make her so extraordinary. We are calling her last earthly show "The Evolution of a Goddess" and you are more than welcome to attend. Doors open at 6:30pm The opening prayer and service is to began at 7:00pm. We will then open the space up to dance, fellowship, enjoy desserts and celebrate together after the showcase. The family asks you dress in pink, white and/or gold with positive energy and ability to have a good time. She would want us to be happy for her. We can cry for her in the car. If you would like to contribute we would greatly appreciate a donation to the Go Fund Me https://gofund.me/8a8feaad Thank you in advance. Sending much love, light, peace and blessings to each and everyone of you.
