Precious Memories

Falecia A. Schneider

As beautiful as a rose to see, was her life she lived so gracefully.  She made things precious by her touch; her selfless love lives on in each of us.  The petals of her life fell one by one; each a gift of her heart till there were none.  Yet her radiance blooms once again in fields of glory with no end.

Falecia A. Schneider was born on May 17, 1965, in Denver, Colorado to her mother, Camila Renick.  She was the second child born in the family.  She was raised surrounded by her brothers, Jules, Chris, and her sisters, Krystal, Palecia, Tanesha, and Maria.

Falecia received her early education by attending the Denver Public Schools, graduating from Manual High School in 1983.  She furthered her education by attending Metro State College in Denver earning a Bachelors Degree.

On December 17, 2002, Falecia united in holy matrimony to Warren Schneider.  They first met at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Denver, Colorado.  To this union, Gareth and Renicia were born.  She was a loving wife and mother who took great pride in the care and nurture of her family.  Warren preceded her in death.

By profession, Falecia was employed by Kaiser Permanente as a Customer Service Representative.  She was hardworking, dedicated and performed her duties with a spirit of excellence.

A woman of faith and belief in the Lord, Falecia was an active member of Zion Baptist Church.  She joined the church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Frank M. Davis.  She served her church and the Lord as a member of the Usher Ministry. She truly loved being part of the Ushers Ministry and standing at the door as a Gatekeeper welcoming those who entered.

Falecia was a fun-loving woman, who enjoyed life and those she encircled.  In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, watching television, and spending quality time with family and friends.  Her closest friends, Maria Reid, May Burks, Selma Smith, and DeWayne Burnette will miss the comraderies they all shared together and the fact that she was a true and trusted friend.  She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful woman, who carried a beautiful smile, who was resilient, humorous, full of strength, and didn’t mind lending a helping hand to others.  To know Falecia was to love her.

Falecia A. Schneider departed this life to the embrace of the Lord on February 17, 2021, in Denver, Colorado.  Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her children, Renicia J. Schneider and Gareth J. Schneider both of Denver, Colorado; her stepson, Joshua R. Schneider of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 2 brothers, Jules Hayes, and Chris Luellen of Chicago, Illinois; 5 sisters, Denver Hayes of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tanesha Ford of Trenton, New Jersey, Krystal Luellen of Phoenix, Arizona, Palecia Hayes of Greeley, Colorado and Maria Reid of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
