Calvin Glenn Reeves, Jr.

Calvin Glenn Reeves, Jr. was born on November 28, 1944, in Wichita, Kansas to his parents, Calvin Reeves, Sr. and Dorothy Harge.  He was the first born in the family.  He was raised surrounded by his brother, Larry, and his sisters, Vivian and Tameka.  As a child, he carried a jovial personality and loved poking fun.

The family eventually relocated to Denver, Colorado and Calvin received his formal education. He attended the legendary Manual High School. His family fondly remembers his love of cars.  He enjoyed test driving the latest and newest models.

Calvin became employed by Safeway food chain. He was hardworking, dependable, and performed his duties with a spirit of excellence.  He retired from the beverage plant after over twenty-eight years of faithful and dedicated service.

Calvin was a fun-loving man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled.  In his free time, he continued his passion for cars and other hobbies. He enjoyed the quality time shared with family and friends. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man.  To know Calvin was to love him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Reeves, Sr., and Dorothy Harge; and his brother, Larry Reeves.

Calvin Glenn Reeves, Jr. departed this life on October 3, 2021, in Aurora, Colorado.  Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include sons, Rudy Adams, Kerry (Veronica) Reeves, Sr., William (Joan) Reeves, Jacob Reeves; one daughter, Denise Reeves; two sisters, Vivian Marcano, and Tameka Reeves; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
