Obituary

Beverly Ann Bell-McGregor

Beverly Ann Bell-McGregor was born on August 26, 1955, in Denver, Colorado to her parents, Ella and Wardell Bell. She had three sisters, Linda, Gayle, and Terri.

Beverly began her early education at Loyola Catholic School, and she completed her education in the Denver Public Schools System.

In 1999, Beverly and John McGregor married in Denver, Colorado. Beverly enjoyed entertaining her many family and friends. They shared a blended family, she made sure that everyone and everything was in order. She embodied hospitality and no one could touch her in the kitchen! Her gumbo, dressing, and dirty rice will not be forgotten. She was always the life of any gathering. She loved to call several times to just let you know she was on her way. Beverly and John shared a happy union of 21 years before John preceded her in death just one month prior to her passing.

Beverly worked for many years in the Aurora Public School District in various positions, from Security to Bookkeeper and the Principal’s Secretary. She was known by the many students who passed her way as, “Ms. Bell.”

As spirted as she was, always keeping it real, she was a woman of wisdom and abiding faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was loved and will always be remembered.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Ella and Wardell Bell.

Beverly Ann Bell-McGregor departed this life on November 13, 2020, in Denver, Colorado. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Conrad Humes, LaAndra Butler; stepmother, Hazel Bell; her stepdaughters, Korrie Sanders and Randee Estes; her sisters, Linda Boozer, Gayle Washington, and Terri Pearsall; her grandchildren, Kennedi Butler, Yaunee Adams, Lance Sanders, Leonard Brice, Lekhari Brice, Lailah Brice, and Nathaniel Estes, and many other family members and friends throughout the country.
