VanDale Taylor

VanDale childhood nicknamed “V.T.” born May 10, 1958, in Denver, CO welcomed with love from the union of Mr. & Mrs. Harold Van (Marcella Sue) Taylor. He was born the second of four children. He grew up surrounded by his siblings Anthony (Tony) and Olainia. VanDale had two stepbrothers Lamon Combs who he met when he went to California with his father as teenager. Then VanDale met his youngest brother Chantêe Lewis many years later as his youngest brother was 19 years his junior. 

VanDale experienced a speech impairment that allowed him to receive exceptional tutoring, and this provided VanDale with an excelled intellectual ability for learning as if he had a college degree. VanDale was an avid drummer, playing in night clubs as a teenager. He was fortunate to work in various areas of employment throughout his life working for companies such as Coors and Western Meats, as well as other jobs. VanDale was experienced in the “Streets of Hard Knocks”, his field of choice. VanDale was gainfully “employed” working the municipalities of Colorado…i.e. He “worked” all the cities in Colorado .

VanDale had 1 child that was attested to, VanDale Wilson. VanDale met and married the love of his life Vera Jean Cortez, this was a 20+ year marriage until death, as the Bible says a marriage should be.

VanDale was a social butterfly, being a person who was socially dynamic, successful at networking, charismatic, and personally gregarious, he loved his friends and had many best friends at various times in this life. 

VanDale is preceded in death by his wife Vera Taylor, his parents Harold and Marcella Taylor, his brothers Harold and Anthony (Tony) Taylor. VanDale leaves behind to cherish his memories, his child VanDale Wilson, his stepmother, Billie Lewis. Siblings; Olainia (Walter) Taylor Haynes, Lamon Combs and Chantêe Lewis and a host of family and friends.
