Tonya Renee Simpson, aged 42, passed away on June 18, 2026. Born on July 5, 1983, in Mansfield, Ohio, Tonya was the cherished daughter of the late Melany Kay Anderson Johnson and Harry Wayne Simpson.

A proud graduate of Central High School, Tonya dedicated her career to serving as a security officer, a role she embraced with passion and pride. She loved life and found beauty in its simplest forms—whether in the stars, the moon, or the sound of rain. An avid reader and lifelong learner, Tonya's curious mind drove her pursuit of knowledge.

Though she did not have children, Tonya's heart overflowed with love for her family, especially her devoted boyfriend, Nate Dues. She leaves behind her beloved sisters, Traci Anderson and Latrice Anderson, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Tonya formed unique and lasting bonds with each family member, whose lives are touched by her kindness and warmth.

Predeceased by her parents, Melany and Harry, Tonya will be remembered for her loving spirit, gentle nature, and the joy she took in life’s simple pleasures. Her memory will shine brightly, like the stars she admired, in the hearts of all who knew her.
