Susie May Williams was born to her parents, Edna Lee Clark and Lee Grady Williams on March 10, 1948, in Hermondale, Missouri. She was raised with her siblings, Aretha Williams, Rose Williams, Charles Jr. Williams, Lee Grandy Williams, Larry Williams, Alvin Williams, James Williams, Henry Williams, Tommy Joe Williams, Robert Williams, and Terry Williams. As a child, Susie enjoyed spending time with family and developed many life skills from her grandmother that created a sound blueprint in her life.
Susie was educated through the Senath-Hornersville C-VIII School District where she attended and later graduated from Senath Hornesville High School.
Following high school, Susie met a young man by the name of Nathaniel Davis. The couple were joined in holy matrimony in January of 1967. To this union, Suzanne Davis, Reneth Davis, Edna Davis, and Catherine Davis were born. This marriage was later dissolved.
Susie's career included working for the United Packing House as a Butcher where she dedicated her time and performed her duties with a spirit of excellence. Later, she earned an opportunity to further her career with Greg Bacherach's, where she warmed the hearts of others serving as a caterer.
Outside of her professional life, Susie found joy in gardening, fishing, listening to music, dancing and cooking. She also enjoyed hanging out with her friend Jackie Howard.
Susie cherished her role as a grandmother, a title she regarded as one of her proudest accomplishments. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Edna Renee Davis, Timothy Davis, Leann Davis, Tasia Walker, Keith J. Davis, Pledge Walker, Cleveland Scaife and 9 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edna Lee Clark and Lee Grady Williams; children, Suzanne Davis and Catherine Davis; and siblings, Mary Lee Norris, Charles Williams, Lee Grady Williams, Jr., Larry Williams, and Ola Mae Williams.
Susie passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025. She is survived by her daughters, Reneth (Jerry) Scaife and Edna Davis; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, Henry (Azula) Williams, Tommy Joe Williams, James (Carol) Williams, Robert (Christy) Williams, Terry (Jacqueline) Williams, and Aretha (Robert) Nelson; sister-in-law, Debbie Williams; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember her fondly.
