Sheila Renee Warren, lovingly known as “Nana” and “Sheila Beila,” passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Sheila grew up surrounded by siblings, playground adventures, and her beloved dog, Tippy. A dreamer at heart, she joined Northwest Airlines in 1994 and spent nearly three decades making good on her promise to show her children and loved ones the world. Known for her generosity and unwavering work ethic, she used every opportunity to lift up others—whether through travel, a phone call, or one of her signature belly laughs.
Las Vegas held a special place in her heart, and no trip was more cherished than celebrating her 50th birthday there with her daughters. She was also a proud and playful grandmother, known for sending gifts, cheering on milestones, and sharing her love of Michael Jackson and wrestling.
Sheila had an unmatched devotion to Frank Sinatra. He was affectionately known as—“My Blue Eyes.” She built a museum-worthy collection in his honor. Her bold honesty, joyful humor, and unforgettable “Sheilaisms” will be missed by everyone who had the gift of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Edward, her parents, and several siblings. She leaves behind her daughters Lalita, Laura, Teresita, and Carrie; bonus daughters LaSonda and Tamara; bonus sons Bear and Shaun; 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, sisters Toni and Patty, and a host of extended family and friends.
Sheila loved to eat well, laugh often, and love hard. She did things her way!
We will miss her!
