Lifes Journey

Paul Edward Reid

Paul. Reid, a beloved father, brother and friend was born on November 23, 1958, in Denver, Colorado, Paul was the son of Spencer Paul Reid and Julia Virella (Thomas) Reid. Paul is the 6th child born in the family. He grew up in a loving family with his siblings Leo, Judy, Janet, and Ophelia.

As a child, Paul had fond memories of watching his father pull out his false teeth and indulging the family dogs with table scraps. Educated through the Denver Public School System. He also developed a passion for collecting hot wheels. But it was playing the drums where he truly excelled. A master of the drums, Paul's favorite song to play was James Brown's music. He would practice tirelessly until he captured the perfect beat.

Throughout his life, he was known for his vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor. Funny and loving, Paul always had a corny joke ready to brighten anyone's day. He had a generous spirit and would gladly give to anyone in need.

Paul's warmth and jovial nature endeared him to many people. Whether it was friends or family, he welcomed everyone into his circle with open arms. His charisma brightened countless gatherings and left lasting impressions on all who knew him. He enjoyed playing basketball and was always up to the challenge of playing the younger generation.

Paul is preceded in death by his loving parents, Spencer Paul Reid and Julia Virella (Thomas) Reid, brother Leo Thomas and sister Donna Reid.

Paul leaves behind an extensive network of loved ones who will cherish his memory. He is survived by  his loving siblings, Judy Henry, Janet Reid, and Ophelia Trammell.
