Obituary

Today, we gather to celebrate the life of Paul Peña, a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend. Paul was born on January 16, 1984, in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Sheri Peña, his son, Paully Peña, his mother, Sylvia, his brothers, Felix and Toño, and his sisters, Monica, Vanessa, and Cynthia. He was preceded in death by his father, Rosendo Peña, and his brother, Joseph Peña. He left us far too soon on February 5, 2026. His presence in our lives was a gift, and his passing leaves a void that can never be filled.

Paul's life was a testament to the power of love, warmth, and humor. He was a shining light in the lives of those around him, always quick with a joke and a laugh. His outgoing personality and infectious laughter could light up a room, and he had a gift for lifting the spirits of those he met. Whether he was making us laugh or offering a listening ear, Paul had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved.

Above all, Paul cherished his family. He loved his wife, Sheri Peña, with a deep and abiding passion, and he adored his son, Paully Peña. He loved his son deerly and hold a special place in his heart for his only son. He had a special bond with his cousins , and his wide circle of friends and family will always remember him fondly.

Paul lived life on his own terms, embracing every moment with a sense of freedom and joy. He knew the choices he made weren't always easy, but he owned them with courage and conviction. He loved his life, and he lived it to the fullest. As he often said, he could care less what others wanted for him , he was happy being free, with no judgment, and that's the kind of person he wanted to be.

Paul's love for his family was unconditional, and he had a way of bringing people together. He was a reminder that family isn't just about blood ties, but about the people you choose to surround yourself with. His memory will live on in the hearts Sheri, Paully, Sylvia, Felix, Toño, Monica, Vanessa, Cynthia, and all his nieces and nephews and both sides of his family.

We take comfort in the memories we shared with Paul: laughter, tears, and countless moments of joy. We'll remember his smile, his laugh, and his unwavering love. He may be gone, but his spirit will stay with us, inspiring us to live with the same kindness, humor, and generosity that he embodied.

Rest in peace, Paul. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
