Patrick Lee Hardiway

Patrick Lee Hardiway, was born on May 8, 1963 in El Campo, Texas. He was the apple of his mother, Vivian Hardiway’s eye. As a child, Patrick enjoyed spending time with his friends where he would play pick up basketball and ride his bike through the Five Points. Patrick’s mother moved the family to Colorado, where he was educated through Denver Public Schools. He attended and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and later pursued higher education at Trinidad College. During his time in college, he earned his associate degree in criminal justice. 

In addition to his academic pursuits, he served with honor in the United States Coast Guard from 1980 to 1984. During this time, Patrick married the love of his life, Charlotte Wells whom was his high school sweetheart. They we married on August 18, 1982 in Denver, Colorado. To this union, Patrick, Korey, and Taylor were born.

He later gained an additional source of pride and joy with the birth of his grandchildren, Rylee Hardiway, Payten Hardiway, Cori Hubbart, Love Woods, Cobi Hubbart and Corbi Hubbart. To them he was affectionately known as “Papa”. His grandchildren fondly recall how he used to play games with them, tell jokes and spend quality time. In addition they loved his cooking.

Patrick worked hard in his professional career, he became a Manager for Comcast Xfinity's Office Relations department where he performed his duties with a spirit of excellence.
 
Patrick personality spoke for itself, he was a jokester at heart and always had something to say. He was also a man of faith that knew that his help came from the Lord. He instilled these same beliefs in his family.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.
