A beautiful Soul Mary Lisele Jones

Mary Lisele Jones, was born on Christmas day of 1957, in Rock Island, Illinois to her mother, Adelain Harris. She was the first child born in the family and was raised with her brothers, Barry Jones, Alan Harris and Gene Harris.

Mary's personality was characterized by her zest for life. She was a passionate, witty and creative individual, who found joy in a variety of activities. Mary loved watching crime and horror shows, cooking delicious meals, dancing, shopping, and crocheting. She also enjoyed spending time with her close friends and family. She leaves behind lots of memories with friends like Bruce Sampson, Dominique Spain and Shawn Aguirre, with whom she cherished many joyful moments.

Mary's family was the cornerstone of her life. She loved them so deeply she was and still is, the pillar to this family. She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Jones and Monique Jones, and her sons, Lemar Jones, Alonzo "Tank" Jones and daughter in law Hamdi "giggles" Jones.

She was the proud grandmother of, Dwayne "Wanye Wanye" Morris, Mikal" My Mikey" Morris, Marquille "T-Bone" Jones, Di'jane Jones, Zielle Jones McBride, La'Riyaa Jones, and J'Nari Jones.

She also leaves behind a host of great grandchildren; Marli Jones, Milah Jones, Ar'Mahni Carr, Jo'siah Morris, Zahari Morris, J'Liah Johnson, and Jeremiah Morris. Each of them carried a special place in her heart, and through them, her spirit will live on. To them she was known as "G.G."

Mary Lisele Jones will be deeply missed, but her warmth, creativity, and loving spirit will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence.
