Leroy (Lee) S. Wells

Lee was born to Cora Lee(deceased) and Joseph H. Wells, Sr. (deceased) In Oklahoma City, and is the third child of eight siblings. He graduated from Douglas High School in 1969. Where he was on the wrestling team. After graduation, he married Carliss Marie Timmons, whom he met in high school and had three children.

He then went on to serve his country in the US Army and went to the Vietnam Nam War. He ended up being stationed in Colorado, and they decided to call it home. He taught his first daughter how to drive at 12 years old, he put his second daughter in swimming lessons at 6 yrs old and is now an avid swimmer and was head life guard at 16, he introduced his son to jazz music and his son is now a 14 year old accomplished saxophone player.

He was a private, quiet man who loved reading, listening to Jazz, and loved to play pool. He was also a Christian. His favorite songs were "Seduction" by Boney James and "Return of The Mack" by Mark Morrison. He is a cherished husband and father, and he is dearly missed.

Lee is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carliss Marie Timmons and his 3 children: Carlisha Marie Wells, Nikiya Marie Wells, and J'Morian Lee Wells. His sisters: Barbara Jean Jones, Sharon Vick, Josephine Simmons , Linda Eronini, and his brother: Andre' Snyder, And a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death are his older sister, Patricia Goffney, and his older brother, Joseph L. Wells.
