Larry Roy Bias, 71, passed away on April 16, 2026, in Topeka, Kansas. Though he passed in Topeka, Kansas, Denver, Colorado was the place he proudly called home. Larry was born in Monroe, Louisiana, where his journey in life began.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He shared 48 loving years of marriage with his wife, Kathye Bias a bond built on love, loyalty, and unwavering commitment.

He was the proud father of four children: Nicole Bias, LaRoy Bias (preceded in death), Rae Bias, and Lloyd Bias. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Kayla Tucker, Naythan Bias, Mea Bias, Levi Bias, and Savannah Bias, and his beloved great-granddaughter, Kehlani Brunetti.

Larry is also survived by his sisters, Helen Bias and Diane Handy, and his brother, Eddie Bias. He was preceded in death by his siblings Emma Bias and Matthew Bias, as well as his parents, Will and Bertha Bias.

Known for his wisdom and quiet strength, Larry was a man who valued family above all else. He had a way of guiding others with his words and presence, offering advice, love, and understanding to those who needed it most. He cherished his family deeply, and his greatest joy in life was being surrounded by the people he loved.

Though life brought its challenges, Larry remained grateful for every moment. His life is a testament to resilience, love, and the importance of family. The memories he created and the lessons he shared will continue to live on through generations.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family.
