Obituary

Kenneth Hobley was born to his parents, Betty Buford and Abram Hobley on October 14, 1960, in Coushatta, Louisiana. He was raised with his siblings, Willie, Jerry, Clayton, Michael, Kevin, Anita and Deborah. Kenneth matriculated through Denver Public Schools where he attended and graduated from Manual High School. Following his formal education, he served honorably in the United States Army, where he was stationed at Fort Polk in Louisiana. This period of military service laid the foundation for a lifetime marked by discipline, service, and leadership.

Professionally, Kenneth served in several roles. His mechanical skills were matched by his musical talents, playing both bass and guitar with an evident passion. He also contributed as an administrative assistant, showcasing his dedication in the workplace. Music remained a central part of his life—he loved playing the piano and creating songs with his children.

Kenneth liked playing basketball, riding bikes, and spending time outdoors. His personal connections were equally meaningful; he cherished time spent with Pauline Roybal and was affectionately known as "Big Daddy" to his beloved grandchildren: Ajayah, Jamier, Jamell, Arianna, Ayanah, and Dantae.

A man of kindness, Kenneth was always ready to help others. His family remembers him not only for his talents and warmth but for his generosity.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Betty Buford and Abram Hobley; step father, John Buford

Kenneth leaves behind his daughter, Ajsha Hobley; his son, Kenyale Hobley, his brothers, Clayton Hobley, and Jerry Hobley; and his cherished grandchildren Ajayah, Jamier, Jamell, Arianna, Ayanah, and Dantae.

His memory will continue to inspire and unite his family and community for years to come.
