The cherished daughter of Pearline Jones, Pastor Juanitha experienced a unique upbringing as her family traversed military life, residing briefly in Germany before taking root in Denver, Colorado. It was here that Juanitha flourished academically at East High School, showcasing her innate creativity and exuberance for performance from an early age. With her beloved brother, JJ, by her side, she organized spirited backyard shows, foresShadowing the vibrant, visionary woman she would ultimately become.HER Family LifeFamily formed the bedrock of Pastor Juanitha’s existence. Despite enduring the heart-wrenching loss of her brother, JJ Jacob, in 1977, she held his memory dear as she nurtured her cherished son, Spencer Terry Jacobs III, the culmination of her greatest joys.. Guided by a steadfast faith, she imparted valuable lessons of love and wisdom found in Proverbs 22:6, grooming Spencer to walk a path of faithfulness, serving alongside others at the Kingdom of Glory Christian Center—a living testament to her nurturing spirit. Later she was united in marriage with George Brennan, her beloved husband, who cherished her deeply and faithfully supported her in every aspect of her ministry and community workHER Ministry and Community LeadershipA loyal servant answering the divine call, Pastor Juanitha transformed a former Ace Hardware building into the thriving Kingdom of Glory Christian Center at 2485 Welton Street, becoming an unwavering anchor in the lives of those within the Denver community. Her ministry transcended the traditional confines of Sunday worship; she opened her home, leading initiatives to meet spiritual and practical needs, including:- Need To Feed food distribution- Kids Entrepreneur business workshops- Annual Christmas bike and toy giveaway open to all- Sponsorship of the Juneteenth parade when funding was at riskPastor Juanitha’s unconditional love recognized no boundaries, extending grace to both congregation members and neighbors alike. As a teacher of the gospel, she illuminated lives through television broadcasts and community radio programs, offering invaluable wisdom, encouragement, and truth. Her dedication to prayer was matched only by her ability to inspire others, establishing public prayer booths across the city, implementing a drive-up prayer mailbox at Kingdom of Glory, and creating a prayer wall adorned with thousands of heartfelt petitions from community members, which she diligently stewarded with fervent faith.Pastor Juanitha’s greetings were embroidered with love; she would often share blessings such as “Shalom,” “Blessed and highly favored,” and “Beloved,” effortlessly weaving closeness and encouragement into her interactions.
