OBITUARY
Jay Cee Hill
Jay was born in Denver, Colorado to Flossie Hill on 11/6/1950. He went to high school at East High School and then proceeded to driving big rig trucks until he attended Metro State College majoring in Criminal Justice Law. He enjoyed going to jazz concerts, listening to music, and watching football, specifically the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jay is preceded in death by his mother, Flossy Hill and his siblings Tyrone, Beverly, Bernadine, and his youngest son, JayCee .
Jay spent five years of his early childhood in National Jewish Hospital after having half of his lung removed because of tuberculosis. After returning home to his siblings, older brother, sisters and Mother, Jay was raised carefully by his loving mother who took time with Jay to make sure he knew how the world around him worked. Jay was curious about the world and decided to travel and live in Alaska, San Francisco, California, Hawaii, and many other states. Jay loved all his children and would continually try to connect with them so they would understand his adventurous ways.
Jay met and married his first wife Shirley Ann and had his first son Alseno Hill who proceeded to give him several grandchildren. When he met Guyrie in October 2008, he found someone who understood his kind heart and they grew together for fifteen years going to jazz concerts together, road trips to bond their relationship, and spending time with relatives before he passed away.
Jay Cee Hill, age 73 of Denver passed away on 12/15/2023 in Denver.
Jay is survived by his wife Guyrie Ingram, sons Alseno Hill (Rene), and Jaysen Danielle Hill (Brittany), daughter Lakela Hill, cousin Melinda (Sissy) Moore, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
