From her early years as the cherished first daughter, Ja’Quavia embodied a natural leadership that left an indelible mark on who crossed her path.A proud graduate of George Washington High School, Ja’Quavia quickly emerged as a vital pillar in her community, touching many lives with her unwavering dedication. She was not only a loving daughter and devoted sister but also embraced the roles of a caring wife, cherished granddaughter, beloved godmother, thoughtful aunt, loyal neighbor, and steadfast friend. Her culinary prowess and hairstyling skills were renowned, making every gathering with her a true feast for the senses.Ja’Quavia's legacy is profoundly anchored in motherhood. Her two sons, Jacier and Ja’cari Calhoun, were the focus of her world. For as long as they could remember, she poured her heart into raising them—attending every basketball and football game, cooking for their school events, and ensuring that their adventures took them far and wide. More than just a present mother, she was an attentive and nurturing guide, embracing her role with passion and purpose.Additionally, Ja’Quavia lovingly welcomed her stepdaughter, Jorhdynn Calhoun, into her heart, raising her as if she were her own flesh and blood. Her long-standing partner, Jordan Calhoun, was cherished deeply; their bond formed at the tender age of thirteen flourished into a love that was truly unconditional. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and resilience, facing life’s storms hand in hand.Ja’Quavia’s family extended beyond her immediate loved ones.
