OBITUARY

James Davis Bills

James Davis Bills was born on September 6, 1944, in Roxton, Texas to his parents, Pedell Davis and Simmie Patterson Bills. He was raised with his siblings, Cecil, Pedell, Jr., Namon and Joyce. As a child, he found joy in playing with marbles and Tonka toys. He nurtured baby turtles and delighted in going to the movies. Baseball held a special place in James' heart, and he actively participated in the sport. Additionally, he went to the community center for tap lessons, roller skating and board game sessions.

After graduating from Manual High School in 1962, James pursued further education at aviation school and mechanical trade school. He utilized his skills as a mechanic during his career, contributing to well-known companies such as Gates Rubber Company, Mountain Bell, and Medved. James was highly regarded for his exceptional work ethic and technical abilities.

James met a lady by the name of Mary Ann Norman and the two were joined in holy matrimony on October 14, 1967 at Macedonia Baptist Church. To this union, Kimberly and Donald were born. This marriage was later dissolved.

James had a vibrant personality that endeared him to those around him. He was known for his laughter and love for having a good time.

James had a diverse range of hobbies and interests that brought him happiness. He relished spending time with friends Kevin Bills and Karen Bills while unwinding with a few drinks. He found comfort in watching church services online with inspirational speakers such as Joel Osteen and TD Jakes. A true car enthusiast, James found immense joy from automobiles and closely followed various sports events.

As someone who cherished family deeply, James's proudest accomplishments revolved around the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their laughter filled his heart with immeasurable joy.

In addition to leaving behind countless treasured memories shared by friends and loved ones, James is survived by his children, Kimberly S. Bills and Donald R. Bills; former wife, Mary Ann Bills; grandchildren, Ashley Bills (Renee) Serenity Walker, and Tyleek Bowers; sister-in-laws, Charlene Bills and Erma Bills; great grandsons, Grayson, Bryson, and Eli Triplett; and a host of other family members and friends.

James Davis Bills' dedication to his work leaves an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be remembered for his laughter, warm spirit, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
