Frances Mabel
Flores
Oct 30, 1967 — May 31, 2026
Frances Mabel Flores, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 31, 2026, in Thornton, Colorado, at the age of 58.
Frances was born on October 30, 1967, in Denver, Colorado, to Abel Garciel Martinez and Caroline Sierra Martinez. She was the youngest of six daughters and grew up surrounded by family who remained an important part of her life. Known for her kindness, sense of humor, and dedication to family, Frances valued time spent with those she loved most. She was preceded in death by her father, Abel Martinez.
Frances had a special relationship with her mother, Caroline, and enjoyed spending time with her throughout the years. Their bond grew even stronger as the years passed, and Frances treasured the time they spent together. Caroline faithfully prayed for Frances for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Chris Flores, who stood faithfully by her side throughout her battle with cancer. Together, they shared countless laughs, unwavering love, and a partnership that carried them through life's joys and challenges.
Frances was a proud and devoted mother to her three children: Jaymes Maddux and his wife, Vanessa, and their children Alanni, Ezekiel, and Lucas; Danny Ray Martinez and his wife, Kerri, and their children Daniela, Darien, and Jaden; and Alyssa Sierra and her husband, Rudy, and their children Sunny, Angelicia, Mya, and Rudy Jr. She was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Isla, daughter of Sunny.
Frances is also survived by her five sisters, Ruby, Theresa, Lorraine, Debbie, and Mary, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whom she loved deeply.
Family was the center of Frances' life. She especially adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment she spent with them. Whether she was cooking a favorite meal, sharing stories, or simply being present, Frances had a way of making people feel loved and cared for. She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor, and ability to make people laugh. A talented cook, she enjoyed preparing meals. She also loved her daily trips to Dutch Bros, where she was known by name, and her drink was memorized. Frances was always willing to lend a helping hand, and one of her greatest joys was serving others in need.
One of the most beautiful chapters of Frances' life began in 2022 when she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ. Her faith quickly became the foundation of her life and a source of strength, peace, and joy. She was baptized and became a faithful member of Increase Church. Frances loved worshiping the Lord, attending church, and serving at outreaches. Her love for Jesus was genuine and evident to those around her.
While we grieve her absence, we do not grieve without hope. Frances placed her trust in Jesus Christ, and today we celebrate the promise of eternal life that she embraced. We take comfort in knowing that she is healed, whole, and in the presence of the Savior she came to love so dearly.
