Obituary

Elaine T. Roberts Williams, 84, passed away on March 19, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. She was born November 12, 1941, to Frank A. Roberts and Vivian C. Cannon Roberts at Mercy Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Elaine grew up in Strasburg, Colorado, and attended Strasburg schools and Colorado Women’s College in Denver.

In 1963, Elaine married Gary L. Williams in Denver. The couple moved to Addison, Illinois, in 1967, where they worked together in electroplating and heat treating before founding their own company, Morgan O’Hare, in 1981. Following Gary’s passing in 1987, Elaine continued leading the company, which became a respected name in the industry. She sold Morgan O’Hare in 1999 and enjoyed a well-earned retirement.

Elaine married Joe Tedesco in 1992, and they shared many happy years until his passing in 2014. Deeply committed to her community, Elaine served on the board of and contributed to the Marklund nonprofit organization in Elgin, Illinois, supporting individuals with profound developmental disabilities and special needs. She was also a generous supporter of the Comanche Crossing Historical Society in Strasburg, the Lincoln Park Zoo, and other charitable causes.

A lifelong believer, Elaine was baptized and a member of the Strasburg Presbyterian Church.
