 Danny Ray Harris, affectionately known as "D-Ray," was born on April 7, 1966, to Lorraine Harper and Robert Eugene Harris, Danny embodied a spirit that was as vibrant as the music he cherished.Educated within the Denver Public School System, Danny found joy not just in learning but in the delights of life. He had a passion for good food, and his love for music was unmatched; every melody seemed to resonate with the rhythm of his big heart. With his trusty boom box at his side, he traversed the city he adored, spreading cheer and laughter wherever he went.A gentle soul, Danny had an incredible ability to connect with others. He was never a stranger to a smile or a helping hand, always eager to assist and uplift those around him. His friends were like brothers; their bonds forged through respect and love, each one touched by his kindness and laughter. He will be remembered for the laughter, the love, and the kindness he shared. .Danny's greatest joy came from his family. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Nominique Harris, who knew that her father’s love was a constant, no matter the distance. His nieces, Savannah and Latoya Nelson, fondly remember him as a steadfast presence in their lives—someone who always offered sage advice wrapped in warmth and humor.A life well-lived, marked by compassion and joy, will remain with us always. Danny is preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine, father, Robert, and brother, Ronald Campbell,Danny Ray Harris departed this life on August 24, 2025 in Denver Colorado. Danny’s legacy continues through his surviving family, including his loving daughter, Nominique S.R. Harris (John Wake); brothers, LaShawn (Angel) and Keith (Sola) ` Harris, and his cherished grandchildren, Jahnique and John Wake Jr. Alongside a host of other relatives and countless friends, they will forever hold Danny in their hearts.He will be dearly missed but never forgotten
