As a child, Calvin loved to sing, travel, dressing up, and cars….hence his nickname, Cadillac. Calvin was the father to two beautiful daughters, Charlotte and Tanya and one handsome son, Michael. Later, his twenty-two grandchildren added an additional source of pride and joy to his life.
By profession Calvin sang with the Fantasy Five. He also worked as a maintenance technician with Denver Public Schools and DPL. Calvin’s love shined brighter than any of his many duties. He loved hard and deep, and he loved his family in ways they all needed. Calvin was a person who accepted everyone with open arms. He was a provider, protector, and a wonderful friend to so many. In his spare time Calvin enjoyed reading, writing, and listening to music. Calvin’s presence and smile will be greatly missed.
