It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Brenda Lynn Sonner on May 12, 2024, in Denver, CO, after bravely battling cancer. Brenda, born on December 29, 1967, in Salt Lake City, Utah, grew up to become a remarkable woman, touching the lives of many with her vibrant spirit, warm smile, and unwavering kindness. Brenda had a deep love for gardening, finding solace and joy in the tranquility it brought. Additionally, she adored traveling, spending time with her friends and family and enjoyed attending concerts.
Brenda will always be remembered fondly by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Craig, and granddaughter, Adalynn Crawford, who meant the world to her. Brenda also leaves behind her sister, Heather (Shane) Stubbs, niece Sydney Williams, and brothers David Sonner and Brian (Dorothy) Sonner, who will all miss her dearly. Her stepmother, Lucy Sonner, was a significant influence in her life.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents, David Sonner and Earla Ferris, whom she missed profoundly. Though her absence will be deeply felt, Brenda's spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Brenda will take place at The Frontier Club on August 3, from 2 to 5 PM, located at 18881 E Colfax Ave #4, Aurora, CO 80011. This event will provide an opportunity for those who cherished Brenda to come together to reminisce and honor her remarkable life.
While Brenda's passing creates a void that cannot be filled, her legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will endure.
