Obituary

Boris McKinley Stone was born on May 7, 1951, in Denver, CO to Freddie Sr and Ellen Stone. Boris had 3 brothers, Freddie Jr, Roy, Calvin and one sister Myrtle. Boris was the baby of the bunch.

Boris grew up in Denver with his siblings and was affectionately known as “Bo,” “Bobo,” “Bobonz,” and “Brix.” He enjoyed music and playing instruments with his brothers and sister, especially the drums. Bo graduated from Manual High School. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 1974 where he served at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, as a Private. He later worked for and retired from Sundstrand, an aerospace and industrial company, where he served as a Chucker Machinist. In retirement, Bo enjoyed life and treasured time with his family, sharing laughter, jokes, and special nicknames for everyone. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his Lola his love, and the girls, Izzy, Nicki, and Sage. They spent and did a lot of things together. Boris is preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Sr. and Ellen; his brother, Freddie Jr.; his nephew, Paul Brame; his niece, Nickesha Stone; and his great-niece, Karrington Brame-Hudson. Boris leaves to cherish his memory his brothers and sister, Roy Stone, Calvin Stone and Myrtle Brame; his nephews, John (Fred) Brame, Michael Brame, and Calvin Porter; his nieces, Lynne Brame, Autumn Kalina, and Wednesday Stone; his great-nieces, Airelle Brame and Jalynne Brame; his great-nephews, Cayden Porter and John F. Brame II; and extended family members Lola Duran, Elizabeth (Izzy), Pryer, Nicki granddaughter Sage, Alicia Washington, Faye Stone, Johnny Brame, Vernita Johnson, and Dalton Ford.
