Obituary

Azaleah Davita Booker

Azaleah Davita Booker, born on November 7, 1981, in Denver, Colorado, filled the world with her light and warmth from the very beginning. As the eldest daughter of Tracy McDaniel and Darwin Booker, she led by example for her younger sisters, Angelica, Lauyona, and Michelle.

A proud graduate of George Washington High School in Denver, Azaleah shared her vibrant spirit with everyone she encountered. Her career at Denver International Airport was a testament to her welcoming nature, culminating in her beloved role at the Capital One Red Carpet Lounge. Her infectious smile and zest for life left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

Azaleah's heart belonged to her two sons, Asariya and Maurice. Motherhood was her greatest joy, and she cherished watching her sons grow into compassionate men. In every meal she prepared, love was the secret ingredient, nourishing both family and friends.

Passionate about nature, cooking, and adventure, Azaleah's love for life was as vast as the mountains she adored. Whether she was collecting unique rocks or dancing on a bar with her sister at Coyote Ugly, her laughter and wit brightened every moment.

Her legacy lives on through her grandbabies, Amaya and Takai, whom she adored and delighted in spoiling. With every dish she lovingly crafted and every adventure she undertook, Azaleah spread joy and warmth.

On September 6, 2026, Azaleah journeyed to her eternal rest. She is survived by her parents, Tracy and Darwin, her sons Asariya and Maurice, her sisters Angelica, Lauyona, and Michelle, and countless family members and friends who cherished her.

Azaleah, you will be deeply missed and forever loved.
