Ashley Monique Pope

September 10, 1995 — April 28, 2025

Ashley Monique Pope, beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, and best friend, has fought the good fight and now rests in eternal peace. Born on September 10, 1995, in Fontana, California, Ashley spent her early childhood in a loving home in Palmdale, CA, before relocating to Aurora, Colorado. She was educated in the Aurora Public School District and graduated from Rangeview High School.

Ashley found her calling in the Food & Beverage industry, where she was admired for her swift pace, warm demeanor, and exceptional communication skills. She brought energy and grace to every role she took on, leaving a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.

In her personal life, Ashley cherished quiet moments at home watching mystery movies and, above all, treasured the time she spent with her children — the deepest joy of her life.

Ashley touched the lives of many with her kind spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering compassion. She carried a light within her that brightened every room and every life she entered. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Victoria Collins-Pope. Following the loss of her mother, Ashley found strength and healing in a devoted partnership with her partner, the father of her children. Their bond became a cornerstone of her life during the good and the bad.

Though her time with us was far too short, Ashley's impact was profound and everlasting. She will be remembered for her warmth, her resilience, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Ashley leaves behind her partner Travanti Wheelock; her precious children, daughter Blessing, and sons Syre and Jah’seer Wheelock; her father, Russell (Ursula) Pope, her brother Marcus Pope; aunts Vicky Allen-Richards (Detroit, MI), Carol Dismuke (Rockford, IL) and CoCo Collins; uncles Dwayne (Stacey) Collins (Rockford, IL), and Floyd (April) Jones; her childhood best friend Georgia Smith (Austin, TX); and sixty-one dear friends listed on Facebook.
