Anthony Wayne Brothers

Anthony Wayne Brothers affectionately called “Tony B” by family and friends was born on Feb 1, 1961, in San Antonio Texas to his parents Willie Ray Brothers and Gloria Faye Lampkin-Brothers. He was raised alongside his younger brother Malcom “Tink”.  As a child he enjoyed playing football and basketball. Anthony received his formal education in Denver Colorado where he attended George Washington High School.

Anthony worked for the JCPenney’s warehouse where he suffered an injury to his back resulting in him having to go on disability.  However, Anthony’s go getter personality wouldn’t allow him to rest after his injury; he went into business for himself opening a telephone store on Colfax Ave. After successfully opening the telephone store Anthony found his niche in the Auto industry where he went on to successfully own his own Auto Body Shop which he had for 11yrs.

Anthony was a fun and loving man who enjoyed being around the people he loved and cared for. He was known for his funny sense of humor and the way he would talk mess and crack jokes. Having lavish Birthday parties every year, he would invite all his friends and family to dress up and have a good time.  Anthony loved cars his hobby’s included fixing up cars so he could display them at various car shows as well as racing his cars at Bandimere speedway. To know Anthony is to love him.

Anthony Wayne Brothers departed this life peacefully on August 16, 2023, in Denver Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory is his Mother Gloria Faye Brothers of Denver co. His five sons Kenny Reynolds, Dedrick Reynolds, Antonio Reynolds, Tyrone Brothers and Tywan Brothers, His two daughters Tonisha McFalls-Brothers, Kia Gelinas and 19 grandchildren all of Denver Colorado.
