LIFE'S JOURNEY

Anthony Quinn Bonner

"Rabbit"

Today, we gather to honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Anthony Quinn Bonner, a man whose spirit and warmth deeply touched all who knew him.

Born on March 20, 1967, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Anthony was the cherished son of the late Edna Bonner and Claxton Veale. He shared a close bond with his siblings, Lillie Bonner, Bonita Spella, Betty Spella, Carol Bonner, Brenda Bonner, Ernest Bonner, Gregory Bonner, and Mark Bonner.

Anthony's journey in life was enriched by the enduring love of his beloved wife, Marcel Antoinette Bonner, and the joy he found in his sons, Cody Thomas, Davel Gafford, and Desean Riley. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends who will hold his memory dear.

Basketball was a natural gift for Anthony—a talent that shone brightly during his days at Northwest High School, where he proudly wore jersey number 32 as part of the 1958 State Championship team in Omaha.

Eventually, Anthony found his home in Denver, Colorado, a place that welcomed his vibrant spirit. His personality was magnetic; his warmth and genuine heart drew people to him, and his ability to create deep connections turned friends into family.

Standing tall in stature, Anthony's heart was even larger. He had an unmistakable presence that filled any room, but it was the generosity of his spirit that left a lasting mark. His ability to make others feel welcome and valued is a testament to the impact of his life.

As we reflect on Anthony’s life, our hearts are heavy with loss, yet grateful for the rich tapestry of memories he left us. His life was defined by the love he gave, the friendships he forged, and the family he cherished.

Though Anthony is no longer with us in person, the love and memories he bestowed upon his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and all who were privileged to know him will live on, forever cherished and celebrated.
