Frances Boyd

Frances Carolyn Boyd, 75 years of age, of Aurora, CO, transitioned May 10, 2023, after heart failure.

Carolyn was born on September 4, 1947, to Jay Van McCrary and Sarah Davis McCrary in Greer, SC.

Carolyn graduated from Lincoln High School, Taylors, SC, 1965. She also got an associate degree in interior design from Pikes Peak College in Colorado Springs, CO. After high school, Carolyn worked at Winn Dixie Bakery in Greenville, SC.

In 1971 Carolyn met Charles at the bakery. Carolyn and Charles were married in 1972 and went on to have two children, son Carlos V and daughter Charlayne G.

In 1993 Carolyn retired after managing a pharmaceutical supply company. Carolyn lived in Augusta, Georgia, Athens, Greece, Killeen, Texas, Schwabisch Hall, Germany, Colorado Springs, CO, Cincinnati, OH, Denver and Aurora, CO. Carolyn enjoyed foreign and domestic travel in America, Greece, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Belgium, Crete, and Germany. Carolyn engaged in collecting humbles, collecting precious stones, collecting photographs, listening to music, and dance.

Services were held at Pipkins, May 25, 2023, at 10am. Reverend Hope presided over service.
