Ruby Robinson

Ruby Lee Robinson was born on January 22, 1934, in Helena, Arkansas to her parents, Robert Alfred Garth and Jessie M. Davis Garth. She was the second child born to this union. Ruby was raised surrounded by her brothers, Robert, Alfred, Thomas, Mark Anthony, and her sisters, Ruthie Mae, Jo Marva, Maxine, Betty, Mae, and Diane. She was a fun and loving child. Ruby was formally educated in Kansas City, Kansas at Sumner High School. She later attended the Community College working diligently to reach her educational goals. Ruby was the proud mother of Pamela Lynette, Sylvia, Charles, Jr., Orlando Kevin, and Darrin Anthony. She loved her children, caring for them was her top priority; she was determined to supply them with all of their needs. In Kansas City, Missouri, Ruby would meet the love of her life, Edward Robinson, Jr. The family moved to Denver, Colorado and Ruby and Edward were joined in holy matrimony at Macedonia Baptist Church. They were inseparable, enjoying traveling, taking road trips, going to Breckenridge, Colorado, and entertaining in their home. She was later blessed with seven grandchildren, Kimberly, Marva, Harold, Aarron, Christopher, Orlando, and Ram; eight great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren, who were all an added source of love and joy. By profession, Ruby was a customer service professional and sales associate for Sears, Roebuck & Company. She managed the Lemon Tree Cafeteria's and later, she became a Nanny. She enjoyed all of the work she did and her co-workers would say she was dedicated, committed, and worked with a spirit of excellence. Ruby was a faithful member of The Potter's House of Denver, Denver, Colorado. Her love for the Lord sparked the need to connect to the ministry for the past five years. Ruby enjoyed life especially when she was dining, shopping, collecting pictures, bowling, and traveling. Her family, friends and best friend, Davis, will always remember Ruby for her smile, and for the open heart she exhibited by opening her home and providing shelter for those in need. Ruby will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Robinson, Jr.; her son, Charles Bradford, Jr.; her parents, Robert Alfred and Jessie M. Garth; her brothers, Robert Alfred Garth, Jr., Mark Anthony Garth; her sisters, Jo Marva Garth, Ruthie Mae Garth, Maxine Thomas; great grandson, Amaryion Porter, and her niece, Crystal Lynly. Ruby Lee Robinson entered into eternity on April 6, 2016, from Denver, Colorado. Left to cherish her memories and mourn her loss include, her children, Pamela Lynette Garth, Sylvia Marie Taylor, Orlando Kevin Bradford, Darrin Anthony Bradford; her siblings, Thomas Calvin Garth, Betty Jean Wilson, Mae Rose Garth, Diane Garth; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
