Randy Anderson

June 14, 1954 — May 22, 2014

Randall Martin Anderson has born on June 14, 1954 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was adopted at nine months by Roy and Kathryn Anderson. They loved and cherished him very much! As a young child, he always had a love for music. He was a self-taught musician, singer, and songwriter. He played the guitar, keyboard, and drums, but his true love was for the guitar. As a teenager, he and his brother-like friends started a band known as "Black Orpheus." Randall attended School in Denver, Colorado, graduating from George Washington High School in 1972. After high school, Randall attended the Community College of Denver at the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver. Where he saw and fell in love with the most amazing, beautiful, strong-willed, and opinionated woman, he would ever meet. After stalking his soon-to-be wife, for months, he made his move, she said, "Yes," and he found his soul mate. 35 years later, Randall and Johnnie Ford Anderson were still married. While they have endured bumps and bruises during the marriage, October 6, 2014, they would have celebrated 36 years. After graduating college, with his Associates degree in Business, Randall began working for the City and County of Denver, as a Buyer Analyst. He enjoyed working and his co-workers would describe him as innovative and pleasant to work beside. In 2009, Randall completed his 28th year with the City and County of Denver and he retired. Randall's hard working attitude, never took away from his passion for music. He played his guitar, and sang for the church where he attended. He was a man of great kindness, distinction, and love. Of the many gifts Randall gave to this world, the beauty of music that flowed through him was a blessing to many. "Thank you God, for giving us such an amazing person to love and have the honor of knowing." To know Randall was to love him. Randal will be missed! Randall Martin Anderson departed this world to find peace, beauty, and tranquility of one far better on May 22, 2014 in Aurora, Colorado.
