Jodonna Keeling

October 11, 1967 — June 27, 2014

As beautiful as a rose to see, was her life she lived so gracefully. She made things precious by her touch; her selfless love lives on in each of us. The petals of her life fell one by one; each a gift of her heart till there were none. Yet her radiance blooms once again in fields of glory with no end. The life of JoDonna Ruby Anna Keeling began when she was born on October 11, 1967, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to her parents, Ernest N. Keeling and Inez T. Pastore Keeling. As a child, JoDonna loved going to church. She was always dressed pretty and looked equally beautiful with her big curly locks in her hair. She shared a special closeness with her brothers and cousins and they all loved playing together. JoDonna received her early education in Denver, Colorado; where she earned her GED. During her early years, JoDonna attended Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Classes and modeling school. She was also a Girl Scout and she loved skating. She and many of her friends loved sleepovers and spending quality time together. By profession, JoDonna was employed as a Nurse's Assistant. She truly enjoyed working and caring for the patients placed in her charge. She worked well with her fellow co-workers and was dependable and dedicated. JoDonna was a strong woman, who was direct. She spoke her mind and was one never without words when expressing her opinion. She loved cooking and would invite family and friends to her apartment for fun, fellowship and a good house party. She loved to entertain and spend quality time with her nieces and nephews. She overcame many of life's obstacles with determination and perseverance. As a result, she was a stronger and wiser woman. A crowning and memorable moment for JoDonna was when she starting driving and obtained her driver's license during last year. She was so happy and excited about driving around the metro area. She was a giving person, who would give the shirt off her back to those in need. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this one of a kind person and Queen of a Woman. To know JoDonna was to love her. JoDonna Ruby Anna Keeling departed this life on Friday, June 27, 2014, in Aurora, Colorado.
