Allen Campbell

August 2, 1950 — January 19, 2016

Allen Campbell was born on August 2, 1950, in Warren Arkansas to his parents, Oscar D. Hart and Verlean Campbell. He was the only child born to this union. The family eventually relocated to Denver, Colorado and Allen completed his formal education by graduating from Manual High School. Allen met and later married Diane Campbell. They met while attending a social gathering in the home of a friend. To this union, a daughter they named Monica was born. He later met, Joyce Kneebone. To this union, a son they named Christopher was born. They both remember their father as a proud man, who cherished the time shared with his children. Allen was the proud grandfather of Josiah T. Bright. They too shared many happy and precious moments together. By profession, Allen was employed as a Head Chef and a Sioux Chef. He worked in several restaurants in the area. Wherever employed, he was hardworking dedicated and performed his duties with precision and excellence. He believed that presentation was as equally important as preparation. A man of faith and belief, Allen worshipped as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He had so for over twenty years. Allen was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, listening to the Blues and traveling. His closest friends will miss the comraderies they all shared together and the fact that he was a true and trusted friend, who spoke his mind and was a honest and caring person. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man. To know Allen was to love. Allen Campbell departed this life on January 19, 2016, in Denver, Colorado.
